COMPETITIONS
At Easts Basketball League we believe every child deserves the chance to play, grow and make memories on the court. Our junior competitions give kids aged 6-18 an exciting, inclusive, and well-organised basketball experience.

Divisions ranging from U8 to U18 (boys & girls).

Our U8 leagues are played on 8 foot rings.

The bulk of our games are Sundays however we do offer Friday and Saturday comps for some age groups.

Age groups explained:
Our competitions are based on the player’s age for the whole calendar year. For example, the U10 division is for players who are 10 years old or younger during that year.

If you turn 11 at any point in the year (even on December 31), you’ll need to play in the U12 division.
HOW TO PLAY:
1.Choose your preferred pathway (own team / individual / club team) and hit Register.
2 .Tell us your age, skill level and preferred days/times.
3. We’ll place you in a team that fits, then you complete registration, pay fees and get ready to play!
4. Teams fill up fast, so don’t delay.
OPTION 1:
SUBMIT YOUR OWN TEAM
Get a group of 7–10 players and enter a team in our league. Parents manage coaching, training, and uniforms.
Fees: $168 per team, per game (covers court hire, referees, staff, insurance, registration, GST and trophies/medals for top teams).
Please note: Each season runs 8–10 weeks to match school terms. If your child’s team has a bye, it still counts as one of their games for the season.
OPTION 2:
JOIN A PARENT RUN TEAM
Register solo and we’ll place you in a parent-led team (volunteer coach/manager). Parents handle coaching, training, uniforms & team organisation.
Fees: $24 per player, per game (includes court hire, referees, staff, insurance, registration, GST and trophies/medals for top teams).
Please note: Each season runs 8–10 weeks to match school terms. If your child’s team has a bye, it still counts as one of their games for the season.
OPTION 3:
JOIN A CLUB TEAM
Take the stress out of organising with our Club Teams. We provide professional coaching, weekly training, uniforms and team management.
FEES: $59 per week + uniform.

Please note: these timings are NOT final and this is if we have the exact same amount of teams playing as this current term. Any reducion/increase in teams will push game times back/forward.
